The building
ACDC bought the site in 2022 with ARPA funds provided by the City of Malden. ICON Architecture designed a three-story, all-electric building with 37 bedrooms in total. It is designed to meet Enterprise Green Communities and Energy Star multifamily standards and will be solar-ready.

ACDC has worked in Malden since 2016. It offers the only HUD-approved homebuyer education in Chinese and English in Massachusetts, and Malden residents can get free financial and housing counseling there.
